Journey to the Top 3 Insights for EMF Home Assessment
Introduction:
An EMF expert is not merely someone who buys expensive EMF meters and switches them on.
An EMF expert is someone who understands the complexity of EMF from the physics perspective and at the same time understands the biological effects EMFs can pose.
In this article, I will show the beginning of a real exercise analyzing information during an EMF Home Assessment.
We start an EMF Home Assessment by using professional meters.
Important Information
The difference between meters available online (such as those on Amazon) and professional meters can be explained using an analogy:
Imagine EMF meters as cars.
Professional meters are the equivalent of a Formula 1 car, offering precision, advanced capabilities, and additional features.
Nonprofessional meters but decent quality EMF meters are bicycles.
A low-cost online product, like a Tri-field EMF meter or similar, is a wheel.
Having a Formula 1 car inside your garage does no good if you are not trained to use it.
Having a bicycle can be very efficient because it will transport you from point A to point B, even if those two points are far apart. It will just take a long time to get there. However, it would never be fair to ask a bicycle to do the job of a Formula 1 car.
Having a wheel is only for entertainment purposes. Please don’t expect that a simple device can adequately analyze EMF air contamination and human absorption.
Now we can talk about the second point.
Going back to analogies: having a Formula 1 car doesn’t make you a Formula 1 pilot, just as having a surgical knife doesn’t make you a surgeon.
Physics is the training needed to understand EMF.
Let’s go to a real-life example:
With professional meters, we obtained this specific information:
That information now must be analyzed.
One of the first questions to answer is what the closest scenario of EMF contamination in the room might be.
What is the intensity of the EMF over distance from the source?
Without that answer, we cannot continue analyzing EMF in a particular room.
Thus, we apply a variant of the formula I = P / (4π * distance²),
This result is crucial for understanding the exposure level in a specific area relative to the EMF source.
I am developing software that will calculate this and other equations, designed so that more people can perform EMF Home Assessments without needing extensive physics knowledge, as it will handle the analysis and provide accurate reports.
As you can see from the example, the meter provided us with one piece of information. The second piece, however, does not come from the meter but rather from the antenna.
I will use a spreadsheet to demonstrate how easy it is to analyze data using a) a series of professional meters b) having information from any and every antenna ever invented by a human and c) recording the latitude and longitude of the place to assess.
The formula is: = $A$1 * $B$1 / (4 * PI() * $C$1^2)
Of course, in this article, I will not show but only one formula and I won’t show the algorithms to obtain information to create a report, but will give readers an idea of what it entails to perform a Professional EMF Home Assessment.
